With 47 years of construction experience and decades of consulting, I provide objective construction analysis and expert witness services for attorneys, insurance professionals, businesses, and property owners involved in complex construction-related disputes.
My practice includes matters involving construction defects, contractor standard of care, building code compliance, premises liability, and personal injury arising from alleged construction deficiencies or unsafe conditions. I have been retained in cases involving residential and commercial construction, high-value custom homes, remodeling projects, tenant improvements, construction-site incidents, stair and handrail failures, trip-and-fall claims, structural issues, water intrusion, and numerous other construction-related matters.
Unlike experts whose experience is primarily academic or forensic, my opinions are grounded in nearly five decades of real-world construction experience as a contractor, consultant, owner’s representative, estimator, and expert witness. I understand not only how projects should be built, but why they fail—and I communicate those findings in a clear, logical manner that attorneys, judges, juries, mediators, and arbitrators can understand.
